The most uplifting corridos ringing in the streets
2023 has been the year of corridos tumbados, a musical style born from regional Mexican music but mixed with other urban styles such as rap, trap and reggaeton.
This sub-genre rooted in Gen-Z has achieved international recognition thanks to artists such as Peso Pluma, Eslabón Armado, Fuerza Regida and Natanael Cano. And now you can listen to it on Corridos Tumbados, the new Spotify Playlist for which we have created the visual identity.

Being "tumbado" is synonymous with being "stoned" or " baked". The idea was to represent this and everything that already surrounds Corridos, such as luxury, kingpins, street life, but without being too explicit.
We decided to embody the concept of "tumbado" without showing illegal substances. Thus, we focused on depicting the side effects associated with them, and also on the electric, disruptive and super young tone that surrounds the aesthetic.
The lock-up follows the style of graffiti and takes us into the world of street gang signatures. It is framed with textures in the colour of cannabis, Lean, Sprite or red plastic cups.
All these elements form the new identity of the most uplifting corridos out there, The Corridos Tumbados. A new musical genre that is brave, unapologetic, and that is heard not only in Mexico and the United States, but all over the world.
