HP drives technological development so that reality inspires the imagination. This can be felt in each of our products and applications, and also at the events and fairs where these innovations are presented to the public.

How can we bring this brand commitment and its translation into products to the user in this climate of lockdowns, social distancing and the systematic cancellation of mass events in public spaces?

The Challenge
If it's not possible to hold fairs, presentations and physical events, the precise challenge is inverting the purpose of the brand: using our imagination to be able to combat the restrictions imposed by this unprecedented reality, and summoning up our creativity to compensate for the absence of face-to-face interaction.
The Solution
Walls, presenters, people… the media displays of a physical HP space have been turned into pixels, data and interactions in a virtual HP space: hpvirtualbooth.com

With this premise and the brand's needs in mind, we created a virtual stand divided into five zones that correspond to HP's five areas of action with regard to large-format printers: posters and displays, professional art and photography, printers (Latex, Stitch, DesignJet and Pagewide), fashion and sportswear, and technical applications.

Users can select the area that most interests them or that fits their business sector and, at that moment, the virtual stand turns into a vertical business page where they find:

  • The latest features and innovations that HP has developed for their industry.

  • The printers and applications that run them and make them possible.


  • But users also find ideas, suggestions and proposals with which to discover the full potential of each area, the USPs of each product, success stories told from interviews with customers, video demonstrations, informative podcasts, and the possibility of ordering a sample kit or contacting an HP sales expert.

    What began as a plan B for the reality that COVID-19 plunged us into has ended up becoming a hub for the brand in which from now on all the products, applications and innovations will be presented: users sign up for webinars that they can watch in real time or whenever they like.

    We got the brand to go from saying, “All fairs and events have been cancelled” to saying “We have a presentation at hpvirtualbooth.com”, and from saying, “We have a problem” to “We have THE solution.”
