In times of #fortnite it's tricky to attract young readers to classic novels. Knowing this, Editorial Planeta  approached us with a new and exciting project. We were asked to design a collection of covers for some of the most well known classic children’s novels.

Our challenge was making something which could encourage young readers to put down their phones and game consoles and pick up a good book instead. 

With this in mind, we decided on a concept where we would incorporate illustrations into the lettering, creating vignettes which would act as a visual synopsis for each novel. The comic book style would be paired with bright colour palettes to create a happy and inviting collection of books that any kid would have proudly displayed on their bookshelf.
